Learning how to learn and how to evaluate information critically is as important as acquiring factual knowledge. Higher-level thinking, critical analysis and research-based inquiry skills will be introduced. Students will have the opportunity to explore in greater depth areas of learning that are of interest and engage significantly with experts in the community.

Students and their parents will meet with the Head of School to determine a program of studies for the coming year. Courses on offer are authorized by the BC Ministry of Education and meet provincial prescribed learning outcomes.

Our goal is to help our students build a portfolio of educational experiences that will highlight their strengths and help provide direction for further learning. All students will choose a program of studies that will lead to the completion of the BC Ministry of Education Dogwood Diploma.

متطلبات التخرج

Academic planning and course selection is a very important process in the Senior School years. Requirements for graduation in the province of British Columbia, على النحو المبين في برنامج التخرج من قبل وزارة التربية والتعليم, are quite specific. The school holds the right to assign students to alternate options should the maximum number of students within any elective subject be reached. Elective courses will be tailored to the student’s interests. We strive to provide a comprehensive program that will allow a student to explore their interests fully. We are proud to offer a pre-engineering option that will include a competitive robotics program.
